An Interview with the twins, age 2.75

1. What is something mom always says to you?
E: mama say “I love you
I: you say “hi”

2. What makes mom happy?
E: the basement is cleaned. It makes you sad when I make a mess.
I: poop in the potty!

3. What makes mom sad?
E: the basement is a mess, mommy get mad.
I: crying is sad

4. How does your mom make you laugh?
E: I do not know. Tickle my neck
I: tickling

5. What was your mom like as a child?
E: hmm. Mom was like ?
I: hmmm…

6. How old is your mom?
E: you are 1
I: 2 and a half. Or three or four or five or six…

7. How tall is your mom?
E: tall, tall big. Crash!
I: short

8. What is her favorite thing to do?
E: cook!
I: play with play-dough

9. What does your mom do when you're not around?
E: you go to the store
I: cook and go in the gym and get somethin’

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?
E: because mama is funny.

E: mama’s really good at getting’ healthy.

E: I do not know
I: bad makes your tummy hurt.

E: mama do her work on her computer.

E: Ethiopian food & lemonade
I: Tofu & water

15. What makes Mommy proud of you?
E: I pee in the potty
I: happy to poop in the potty! I’m so proud of you!

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
E: izzie loves hippo, you love giraffe, I love zebra, daddy loves penguins.
I: lion!

17. What do you and your mom do together?
E: we go to the playroom.
I: we play games, dance dance dance, I sing

E: you tuck me in.

E: I can’t know it.

Ohhh, if only I could carry in conversations such as these with my three. "Big car" is about it, although I enjoy that topic. And Tsega's favorite topic to discuss is "outside" and how cold it is, but all in body/sign language only. Someday, I hope, although I may never get cute toddler convos since they will start speaking when they are adults, maybe. Haha.

Your kids are funny and adorable, how about some pictures, enough talk. :) (Mmm, now I'm hungry for tofu and lemonade!)
