Music is big around here. We have impromptu dance parties and sing-alongs all the time, and we spend exponentially more time listening to music than watching television. We've never been big on kids' music (with the exceptions of Elizabeth Mitchell, the Putumayo Kids series, small doses of Justin Roberts and certain compliations for children by adult musicians), and don't really censor what we listen to with our kids.
Both of the twins love music, singing and dancing, and they know all the words to all of their favourite songs. I thought it might be fun to share some of them with you!

lol...I played Trouble is a Friend for D and he began to yell "No no!" Oh dear. Considering his music collection consists of a bunch of kid CDs with The Samples, Bruce Springsteen, and a few other artists thrown in, we may need to work on expanding his repertoire. :)
THanks for the playlist. I'm enjoying it immensely. Have you at least tried Ralph's World? His kid's music is very witty and our kids still enjoy it.
This is so why I need some music mixes from you! I'm such a music nerd and I have stuff like Raffi from 20 years ago (and it skips in the CD player!). Mark has a HUGE selecetion of organ music, wanna trade some?
Just checked out Bon Iver and Lenka albums from the library and loved them both. And D began dancing to them once they were playing on our stereo system :). Turns out the "No No!" was in regards to playing music on my laptop. ;) Keep the playlists coming! And on a somewhat related topic, did I ever mention that we became huge Apples in Stereo fans after hearing a song on one of your playlists? Thanks for having such great taste in music! ;)
I have been toying with doing something similar for Figs, but I am ashamed to do so. I failed her.
